In Mahaparinibbana Suttanta, the Buddha told to his beloved disciple Ananda, “There are four places, Ananda, that a pious person should visit and look upon with feelings and reverence.” Italian scholar and traveller, Carlo Buldrini, retraced those four places more than two thousand years after the Buddha.
